Yea, I said it. I know I said I wanted to weave my hair up for my bday and I have to say, I'm glad that I did this weave earlier to see how it would be. I'm so sick of having a weave. let me tell you why....
When I was relaxed, you couldn't tell me about nothing about wearing a weave. I used to wear them often and when I did I rocked the hell out of it! I would wear it wavy or bone straight. Now that I'm going natural. I HATE THEM! I guess it's because it's straight hair. (Yea the weave has some body wavy to it when I wet it but for the most part, it's a fairly straight weave.) I don't straighten my own hair often so for me to rock a weave that requires me to straighten it is not going to work.
Then the texture of the weave hair. Sometimes it matches and other times it doesn't. When I tease it, it will blend but when I wear it straight, it doesn't look right. Then I get annoyed and want to pull the whole thing out!
So to make my life easier, I'm just given up wearing weaves for good. It's goo cuz I will be saving money (not buying hair) and I will be happy without all that extra added hair!
Is this the E.R.E.N.A. body wave? How many ounces do you need to get this look?
ReplyDelete@mishelle: Yes it is. I'm not sure how many ounces I got because I've had that hair for over a year. I'm guessing it was 4 or 5oz. They've raised their prices because it used to be 20$ an ounce but now it's 20 something maybe 30 something dollars an ounce plus tax.
