So I've decided to straighten my hair only once a year!

Yep! I mean, I don't have a reason to straighten my hair. When I was transitioning, I used to straighten my hair because I wanted to cut off the relaxed ends. After I big chopped, I only straightened my hair once because of grad pictures. That was back in May. Now That school is over, I don't have an excuse to straighten my hair. So I've decided to straighten my hair once a year. I figured I'll only straighten it for my birthday because it'll be something different. After that, I'm back to the kinky-curly!

I just want to be surprised at my hair growth. I'm really hyped that I can french braid my hair again. I thought it was still too short to french braid. But now I can do it. I want the same thing to happen on my growth journey. I want to be shocked at how long my hair got without actually pressing it often.

So we'll get to see how long my hair really is Feb 24, 2013!!!!
