Crack open the champagne and lets get the party started because TODAY makes it a WHOLE YEAR SINCE I PERMED MY HAIR!!! I have to say that I'm very proud of myself. I knew that I wasn't going to perm my hair again, but I didn't know if I was going to make it. Time really goes fast because last year on this day I didn't even know I was going natural. It was actually June 4th that I decided that I was going to go natural. Last year, I couldn't wait for me to be a year post. I figured, by that time I would already have grown out all the perm. So not the case. But I'm just so happy that I've made it to a whole year. I'm just really shocked because I was always on time with my perms. I month couldn't go by without me getting a perm. So to see my actually NOT get a perm for a whole year is cool!
Overall, I'm so happy that I decided to become natural. It's the best choice that I could of ever made for my hair. For some of you I know that it might seem like it's going to be hard to transition or you want to go natural but you just can't see yourself transitioning. Just DO IT! Don't worry about the this or that. Just focus on the great prize... and that's having beautiful, healthy hair!
