1st real pre-poo

So since I've been natural, I haven't pre-poo'd. I mean, I kinda do. When I take out my braids, I normally use Shea Moisture Purification Masque but that's about it.  But to really take the time and do a pre-poo for a good 2/3 hours. NOPE. So I decided to try it out and what do you know. My hair really loves it!

R. Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle conditioner,
M. Sweet Almond, Coconut and Rosemary oil mix
L. Olive Oil and Vatika's Coconut oil

So to begin, I went ahead and did a scalp massage. I warmed my oil mix (Sweet almond, coconut and rosemary oil) and massaged it on my scalp for about 5-10 minutes. Then I applied the conditioner. I had started to notice that Tea Tree Tingle wasn't working as a regular conditioner or a cowash conditioner. So I used it as a pre-poo conditioner and it was ok. I sealed it in with my Olive oil and Vatika's coconut oil mix.

When shampoo'd my hair, it felt completely different than when I wouldn't pre-poo. I don't think I mentioned this before but I feel as though I still have scab hair left. Not as bad as i did before but I feel like it's still there. I might be wrong. It might just be my texture but I know that it feels just like the scab hair I had before.

I'm trying to see if pre-pooing will elevate the "rough" areas. I have felt a difference so maybe if I continue to pre-poo, it might soften up. But so far so good. I've added another step to my regimen.
