| 12 years old. My hair was collarbone but my mom bumped the ends. This is the longest my hair has ever been. |
Now for me, I always reminisce about my hair in jr. high. My hair was at it's best! It was full, thick, long and extremely healthy. My hair was just amazing then and when I look back I did nothing but protective styles! I used to wear box braids for months to protect my hair from the Winter cold, flat twisted my hair into a big bun and cornrowed my hair into different designs. I mean I still had a perm but for the most part my hair was protected into these styles.
I just look at myself for inspiration. I know I can get my hair back to the way it was. Just remember that Patience is Key. in whatever you do you have to be patient. You can't expect to go from 0 to 60 in like a day. Every thing takes time. I just like to set goals for my hair and forget them. Meaning, I would set a specific goal and then but them in the back of my mind so that way I don't have to be so focused on them. At the end of the day, it's just hair. It's all just HAIR!
