So I took out my braids. Yea I know. I did really good thought. I kept them in for a month and 2 weeks. I took them out on the 17th so my hair has been out for a good week. Not only did I take out my braids, I got my hair straightened. That was something I said I really didn't want to do until sometime next year but I said what the heck. The new year is coming and I haven't pressed my hair since May so why not.
I'm planning on leaving my hair out for the whole of January (if it doesn't annoy me) then putting my braids back in a week before my bday and I'm going to try and keep those braids until the first week of April. Sounds like a plan!
