Ok, so it's been 3 whole months (June 24th) since I've big chopped and I'm loving my hair more and more each day! When I 1st bc'ed, I must say I wasn't too thrilled about my hair. I just didn't know what to do with it so I would hid it in box braids. When I went on Naturally Curly and asked what I should do, people told me I shouldn't hid my hair in braids. I should take this time to get to know what my hair likes and doesn't like. Boy were they right! Now after a few months of having it out and playing around with it, I've gotten used to it and I'm just loving it. I've learned to embrace my hair. I've learned how to rock my hair with my twist-outs and wash 'n' gos.
Since I'm going to Antigua next week Thursday, I've decide to braid my hair up. Only because I'm going to be on vacation and I don't want to be bothered with my hair. It's too time consuming and the maintenance is going to be too much. I'll take them out either late August or mid September. Another reason for the braids is to grow my hair out some more. I mean, it's growing but I find that it grows faster when it's in box braids left alone. Heres a pic of my hair detangled with some conditioner.

I look so crazy but that's how much hair I have. And this is how my hair looks when it's blown out.

So I just want my hair to grow out . Like I keep on saying, my goal for the end of the year is to be full collarbone. I hope it is. All I need is 5 or 6 more inches to reach my goal and then I'm good. I just feel like the more length I have, the more styles I can do.
So there you have it! Just a little up date. I'll be back in September to show you my "new growth"
